Slice tomatoes fairly thin. Heat the skillet to medium high. Slightly oil it with olive oil. Lay tomato slices in a single layer and allow to cook for about 7 min, or longer for more caramelization.
Once they start looking tender use a spatula to carefully flip, then remove from the heat.
Garnish with rosemary if desired.
