Directions
Begin by slicing the apples very thin, leaving the skin on. Then place the apples, water, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and ground cloves in a slow cooker on low heat for about 8 hours. After about 8 hours, puree the apples until the apple butter is of the desired consistency. It is best to puree with a handheld blender. Enjoy!
