Cranberry-Apple Sauce

Directions

In a medium pot over medium meat add the cranberries, apples, orange juice, cinnamon and vanilla. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a low simmer and cook for approximately 20 minutes while the cranberries burst open and the apples soften.

The mixture will be ready when all cranberries have burst and you end up with a thick compote type of dish.

Add in the orange zest and a little stevia if desired. You could use the juice of additional oranges if you would like to thin the compote out a tad.

Enjoy hot or cold over turkey.Protein: 0 Fat: 0 Fruit: 1 Veg: 0
